SQVPN uses a username and password for registration and does not require an email address. When an account is created or accessed, SQVPN processes the username, authentication credentials, and necessary security status to identify the account, maintain the session, prevent unusual access, and provide subscription management features. Passwords are used only for authentication and handled with safeguards appropriate for authentication systems.
After a subscription is activated or adjusted, the service retains transaction-related order records, including the selected item, amount due, payment channel, transaction status, refund status, and order processing records. This information is used to deliver subscriptions, reconcile billing, process refunds, respond to support requests, and fulfill necessary financial and dispute-handling obligations. During service operation, the service also calculates used traffic and subscription status to enforce plan allowances, traffic resets, and service-duration rules.
Traffic Analytics and No-Logs Principles
To determine whether pages are operating correctly and to fix faults, the website may process traffic analytics such as page requests, browser and device category, referring page, feature errors, and security anomalies. This information is used for site maintenance, capacity analysis, and security protection, not to build personal profiles related to content accessed through cross-border connections.
SQVPN follows a no-logs policy: it does not record which websites users access, retain message bodies, request content, or domain lookup content that could reconstruct browsing activity, or maintain long-term connection activity histories organized by account. Network systems may temporarily process connection metadata necessary for routing, traffic measurement, fault diagnosis, and abuse prevention. Once the relevant purpose ends, original diagnostic data is deleted or converted into aggregate information that cannot be linked to specific access activity.
Cookies and Local Storage
The website and user panel use cookies or browser local storage to save login status, interface language, necessary security markers, and feature preferences. This data maintains sessions, restores user choices, and keeps page functions consistent; it is not used to record specific content accessed through international routes.
Users can clear cookies and local storage through their browser settings. After clearing them, login status and interface preferences may need to be configured again, and some session-dependent features may require identity verification again. Disabling necessary storage may affect normal use of the user panel.
Third-Party Payment Processing
SQVPN supports Alipay, WeChat Pay, and USDT. During payment, the information required for the transaction is handled by the relevant third-party payment channel under its own rules. The service receives only the transaction result, order identifier, and status information necessary to complete the order; it does not collect authentication credentials for third-party payment accounts through website forms.
Third-party payment channels are responsible for processing the data they independently collect. Their respective privacy rules govern data use, retention, and security measures. Users should review the relevant information provided by their chosen channel before making a payment. SQVPN uses payment results only to confirm orders, deliver subscriptions, reconcile accounts, and process refunds.
Data Retention, Deletion, and Policy Updates
Account information is retained while the account remains active and for as long as needed to provide the service. Order, refund, and dispute-handling records are kept for the period required to fulfill transaction obligations, handle user requests, and meet applicable rules; once they are no longer necessary, they are deleted, de-identified, or removed through backup rotation. Traffic diagnostic data is retained only as needed to investigate faults or complete security purposes.
Users can submit a support request through the user panel to ask for access to, correction of, or deletion of account-related information. After receiving a request, SQVPN verifies account ownership and processes data that can be deleted. Records still needed for incomplete orders, refunds, dispute handling, or necessary compliance obligations will be deleted after the relevant purpose ends. Deleting account information may make existing subscriptions and user panel features unavailable.
This policy may be updated as service features, data handling practices, or applicable rules change. The updated text will be published on this page, and the last-updated information at the top of the page will be adjusted accordingly. Changes that materially affect the scope of data handling may also be communicated through the user panel. Users are encouraged to review the latest version before continuing to use the service.
